15: Facts of the Case

The case talks about many things. It talks about the court’s reasoning, the evidence, the procedures, and the precedence. It talks about the plaintiff and the defendant. It talks about the material facts.

But it doesn’t talk about the blood. It never mentioned anything about the despair. Or his panic. Or how we linked hands to pray. Or how long the ambulance took to arrive. Or how she continued to hope. Or how I kneeled and asked St Jude to make it all a dream. Or how we’ve not seen each other since then.

I guess these weren’t material enough.

this at least is all true. i would not stain my memories of this. it deserves no embellishment. it needs none. inspired by Loh v Foo [2005] 1 SLR(R)
